A Picture-Perfect Day with Ashlynn & Dawson in Des Moines
A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon in Des Moines with the sweetest couple—Ashlynn and her boyfriend Dawson. The session was full of laughter, adventure, and, of course, a little bit of drama to keep things interesting! We started the day at our first location, a scenic spot that gave us a perfect backdrop for capturing the love these two share. Ashlynn was radiant, and Dawson couldn’t take his eyes off her, making my job of documenting their connection so easy. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and I couldn’t help but smile behind the camera as they shared little inside jokes and sweet moments. The light was gorgeous, and everything felt just right. After wrapping up at our first spot, we headed into the city for some fun, urban shots. The energy was electric, and I loved how Ashlynn and Dawson embraced the vibe. As we wandered through the streets, I captured them in candid moments, walking hand in hand, laughing together, and simply enjoying each other’s company. But no adventure is complete without a little twist! While we were snapping away, we suddenly noticed a tow truck about to haul Dawson’s truck away. Panic set in, but Dawson quickly sprinted over, and luckily, we caught it in time! No lost truck today, just a close call and a few extra heartbeats. Once the dust settled, we all had a good laugh about it. It’s safe to say that this session will be one for the books. Despite the towing incident, the day was nothing short of beautiful. The weather was perfect, the lighting was magical, and Ashlynn and Dawson were just incredible to work with. They were so relaxed and easygoing, and their love for each other really shined through in every single frame. Sometimes, the unexpected moments make for the best memories, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day with these two lovebirds. I’m so excited to share some of their photos with you all, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
