FAMILY SESSION
A Bloomfield Family Session with the Andersens
After spending sometime capturing a stallion session—owned by Ryan and trained by Zac—under the blazing Bloomfield sun, I figured the day couldn’t get any better. The power, precision, and pride behind the horse was something to witness, and I felt lucky to freeze those moments in time through my lens and create something epic to promote this stallion. But the second half of the day brought a whole new kind of magic.
That afternoon, I headed straight from the pasture to neighbors house then to the Andersen family’s place for a session that was equal parts cozy and joy-filled. With the sun still high and golden, their family welcomed me with warmth and smiles that instantly made me feel like one of their own. And the Golden Retriver, say less. The Andersens have that rare kind of bond that doesn’t need much prompting—it just is. From belly laughs between siblings to the way mom and dad looked at each other like time had stopped, every moment felt like a memory in the making. We wandered through sunlit fields, let the kids run free, and leaned into the beauty of real-life moments—messy, sweet, and unfiltered. As someone who spends her days toggling between high-energy shoots and sentimental storytelling, this was the perfect blend of both worlds. The Andersens reminded me why I love what I do—because behind every family photo is a heartbeat, a history, and a future.
Thank you, Anderson family, for letting me step into your world and capture just a little piece of it.
