For Emma and Kyle, it all started at the gym. What began as two people crossing paths eventually became shared adventures, support, and a love for the outdoors. More than two years later, they've built a life where showing up for each other is just as important as the adventures themselves. One of the most meaningful moments in their story happened after Emma and her horse, Captain, completed a perfect cross-country round. At her very first recognized horse trial, Kyle got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. For a horse girl, it's hard to imagine a more fitting place to begin the next chapter. But their story isn't just about the proposal. It's about Kyle helping Emma get her first buck, proudly stepping into her world of hunting. It's about Emma cheering Kyle on during his very first riding lesson, encouraging him as he stepped into hers. Their relationship is built on curiosity, learning from one another, and choosing to understand the passions that make each other who they are. Together, you'll find them hiking mountain trails, fishing quiet lakes, hunting, kayaking, spending time with horses, or simply enjoying an evening cooking and baking side by side. They also share a strong faith, having found a church they now call home together, and they're even training to run a half marathon before they say "I do." When planning their engagement session and elopement, one destination immediately came to mind: Glacier National Park in Montana. With towering peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and endless views, Glacier perfectly reflects the adventurous life they've built together. Their June Montana elopement won't be about rushing from one event to the next. Instead, it'll be about slowing down, soaking in every moment, and celebrating the beginning of a marriage surrounded by God's creation. As a photographer , those quiet, unscripted moments are often my favorite too. The hand squeezes no one notices. The conversations while hiking to the next overlook. The peaceful silence as two people realize this is the beginning of forever. Emma and Kyle's story reminds us that love doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's simply choosing each other every day. Choosing to step into each other's worlds. Choosing adventure. Choosing faith. Choosing support. And soon, choosing forever.
