Jake & Jennifer—Love, Laughter, and the Farm That Started It All

Let’s back it up to where it all began—online, because modern romance. Their first date? The Chuckwagon in Adair, where Jennifer almost baptized herself in lemonade. Smooth moves, right? But Jake thought it was “kinda cute,” and the two spent hours laughing and getting to know each other. Little did Jennifer know, the Alabama playlist she had cranked on the way to meet him was a cosmic sign. Jake’s seen them in concert multiple times. Yeah, these two were a vibe from day one.
Fast forward two years, and their love story has grown into a life full of adventure. Fishing contests at the quarry (Jake’s dad plays referee), road trips, concerts, and hockey games. And let’s not forget the classic arcade dates that prove chivalry isn’t dead—it just plays Pac-Man. Oh, and they’re living the dream on their first acreage together, planning to raise elk and grow a market garden. (Some couples share houseplants; these two are building a homestead!)
Their session was at the heart of it all—the farm where Jake popped the question last December during a “totally casual” deer-scouting trip. Spoiler: Jennifer walked into the barn expecting deer movement and walked out with a fiancé. This place isn’t just land; it’s the backdrop to some of their best memories.
