Tanner Senior Session
Meet Tanner Dorbeck, a North Mercer R-III senior graduating on May 10, 2027! Tanner is the kind of guy who knows how to enjoy the simple things in life. When he’s not busy with school, you’ll likely find him hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, or spending time with his girlfriend and family. He also knows that sometimes the best destination is simply McDonald’s! For Tanner, high school has been full of memories, friendships, and, of course, a few naps in class. When asked what he’ll miss most about high school, his answer was pretty fitting: “taking naps in class.” And what won’t he miss? Well… let’s just say there are certain people he’s perfectly happy to leave behind! His favorite class is math, his favorite color is maroon, and his go-to comfort food is mac and cheese. Tanner’s favorite movie is Road House, and his favorite song is “Santa Monica” by Everclear. Some of Tanner’s favorite high school memories have undoubtedly been made alongside his best friends, Rilee West and Keegan Brundage. And when it comes to accomplishments, Tanner keeps things refreshingly humble. His greatest accomplishment? “Making it this far.” Honestly, that deserves some credit! Tanner also has some pretty memorable advice for the underclassmen: “A D is still passing.” And his favorite quote says a lot about his personality: “You gonna do something or just stand there and bleed.” Tombstone . As Tanner looks toward graduation and life after high school, he already has his sights set on the future. His plan is to attend welding school and make lots of moneyand we have a feeling he’s going to put plenty of hard work into making that happen. Congratulations on making it this far! Your senior year is a milestone worth celebrating, and I’m so glad I got the chance to capture this season of your life.
I hope these photos always take you back to this time—the people you loved, the things you enjoyed, and the excitement of everything still ahead.
